Front Office Coordinator

I earned my AAS in dental assisting and brought eight years of chairside assisting experience with me when I joined the team in 2011. I work in our front office, where I greet patients with a smile, review patient care plans, and coordinate the financial aspect of our patients’ treatment. I enjoy helping patients get the best possible care.

One of the best parts of working here is that we all believe that patient care is the number-one priority. We’ve created a great office environment, where we always have fun and laugh throughout the day.

I am married to my high-school sweetheart and we have five fur babies. I am very passionate about nutrition and fitness. In my spare time, I like being outdoors, baking, and going anywhere with a beach.

I graduated from Western Career College in Pleasant Hill in 2009 and began working with Dr. Villa and the family here at American Canyon Dental Care in 2016. I love getting to know and grow with our patients, helping them feel comfortable, and easing their fears and anxieties about being in the dentist office. My goal is to help them understand the importance of oral health and how it correlates to overall health.

I married my husband Mark in 2014. We have two daughters named Amerie and Amila. I love spending time with family, exploring new foods, and taking my girls to Disneyland. I am also a certified Bodycombat instructor and love to teach group exercise classes for fun!

Front Office / Financial Coordinator

I graduated from Western Career College in 1995 as an RDA. I spent 13 years working as an assistant, and for the past decade, I’ve worked in the front office as a financial coordinator. I work hard every day to help our patients understand the importance of their dental health and to answer any questions they have about treatment, insurance, or finances. I love getting to meet new people and build relationships that last!

Our team at American Canyon Dental Care is awesome! Everyone is friendly, professional, and understanding. We all help each other, and that’s what makes us like family!

I’m married and have two wonderful sons. I also have four lovable dogs: Max, Zyra, Star and Daisy. I enjoy doing crafts, spending time with my family and friends, and attending car shows.

I earned my dental assisting degree at Diablo Valley College. Because I enjoyed dentistry so much, I decided to continue my education. I took all prerequisites to become a dental hygienist and was accepted into Santa Rosa Community College. I started working with Dr. Villa in 2017.

I love coming to work each day because it is never the same, which makes it so exciting. I love getting to know my patients and I enjoy building a friendly relationship with them while helping to improve their oral health. I also enjoy my work family because it doesn’t feel like work at all! We all love what we do and we have fun, while helping people conquer their goals in helping achieve a healthy beautiful smile.

I have lived in the Bay Area my whole life. In my spare time my boyfriend and I love to go watch the Giants play, go to Lake Tahoe, and at the moment, you will catch us working on our home that we just bought.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I began my dental career in 1995 as a sterilization tech and registered dental assistant while taking classes to graduate with my dental hygiene degree. I joined American Canyon Dental Care in 2002, where I make patients feel as comfortable as possible while providing education on oral and systemic health. Most importantly, I make them smile!

I have such respect for Dr. Villa and appreciate her genuine concern for our patients’ well-being. She has allowed me to grow and improve in my skills through her example and education she has given me. Our team’s goal is putting our patients’ needs first!

I have been married for more than 20 years to my best friend. We like traveling, trying out new restaurants, and wine tasting. We are enjoying raising our daughter and son, and have fun being a part of all their activities, including karate, baseball, swim, girls on the run, and school plays. I am also an active member of the school’s parent association and belong to two book clubs and a monthly bunco group!
